After the rains from that psychotic bitch, Ophelia, had gone there was a lot of water on the ground. It caused some of the trees near us to become fat with water. One set trees got so fat that it busted its bark in some places producing sap. With that came sap and with that came the rats-with-stingers. These Dolichovespula arenaria will eat trash, people, bugs and anything else. On this occasion they were pigging out on the sap coming from the trees. I could go into detail about their life cycles and other traits but I found that this site does a better job than I could ever do and they even spell check everything.
